Those scenes where the hero in a movie shoots a group of bad guys in the blink of an eye - have you ever wondered how they're made?
You might think it's CGI or some kind of special effects, BUT NO! They're using our patented R.E.A.L. Bullets!

That's
Remote
Engineering
Assisted
Lead-projectiles
(Don't worry, they're made out of rubber, but R.E.A.R. doesn't quite have the same ring to it.)

Here you can take a peek behind the scenes and see how our remote controlled bullets work during the filming of "The Nice, the Naughty and the Unattractive".

Overall pretty fun! Took me a few tries to get used to the bullet movement, but once I did it was fun doing a double bounce off the frying pan -> church bell -> guy at the top of the building.
I did find the camera a bit jarring and a little disorientating with how it lagged behind the bullet (was it LERPing to the bullet?). Maybe try making it snap to the bullets rotation a bit faster?

Thanks for the review!

Yes, I played around with a bunch of different lerp values but I'll still have to adjust it, maybe even add a few impact frames on bounce as someone else suggested.

This was fantastic.  I did end up adjusting my mouse dpi before coming down to read the comments, though.  Maybe an options menu where you can change mouse dpi in-game?  And I just now noticed an option to slow down the game.  That could have helped.  Maybe an in-game representation of the controls?  I didn't read anything before playing.  I think there was a bit of voice acting at the end of each level that was supposed to play but the next level started before the audio could finish.  Or maybe I clicked something without realizing it?  Not sure.  Either way, fantastic showing.

Thank you for the comment!

I do plan on adding a mouse sensitivity slider in the next version, as well as a proper tutorial, I justran out of time before I could implement it.

The voicelines should play, at least they play fine for me, after you complete a level press "Space" to advance to the next level. Let me know if it takes you to the next level automatically, that is definitely a bug.

Okay, just tried it out again.  It does play the full audio, I guess I was just trigger happy on that spacebar and hit it before the audio finished.

The concept is really strong, and your game has a great connection to the jam's theme!

I felt like I had a bit of trouble steering the bullet, I think the game may be more fun if the amount of movement you could influence on the bullet was a lot higher!

Thank you for playing!

Currently the speed at which the bullet turns is dependent on your mouse sensitivity, I noticed that a bit too late.

If/when I update the game I'll make sure to add an in-game mouse sens slider, but at the moment the only workaround is to adjust your mouse dpi.

thats it, only like 5 levels? Nooo...

If people are interested we might continue developing on it.

There are a lot more gun related movies to parody...

I did not have any expectations coming into the game because the menu had gotten jumbled up pretty bad on my screen :') but dang did this game surprise me!

The mechanic, I've got to say, is awesome! I may be on a trackpad, but playing this felt awesome! I made sure to get my oscar don't you worry! xD

Love the bullet trail effect (reminds me of the matrix), the sound effects are wonderful and the music is *chef's kiss*

Great job amigos! Keep up the awesome work!
